Bomber from a Walgreens. Pours copper with a creamy beige head. Odd aroma of nuts and cooked fruits. Med body or better, tho it thins quickly. Flavor is fruity and nutty - got that nut grease going here. It’s a decent brew, especially the fruits - which are towards med dark like dates. But it lacks substance - still, better than a lot of nut brown ales (which is what I think this really is). Frozer (240) - Illinois, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Copper Hazelnut color. Medium white head. Pleasant Hazelnut aroma. Smooth nutty flavor. With slight centennial hop spice. Light enough to drink any time of year dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Pours deep amber with a fair-sized but short-lived head. Nice hazelnut aroma but otherwise pretty generic. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2014
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours an almost clear dark amber with a half finger of off-white head. Aroma of toffee and caramel with something a little Roasty. Tast is light bitter. Caramel and toffee with a hint of hazelnut in the finish. Not bad actually, I was pleasantly surprised. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - MAR 28, 2014

Pours slightly hazy copper with thin head. Nutty hazelnut aroma. Peanuts, hazelnut on the palate with a slight bite if hops. Slightly plasticky aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel.

Acquired in a 3 mixed bomber pack with a glass. Copper amber in color. Really nice clean toasted hazelnut aroma. More toasted hazelnut notes in the aroma. Overall, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this but I’m pleasantly surprised and delighted. This would probably pair well with some dark chocolate. Cdavis28 (2) - - JAN 29, 2014 does not count
Poured this into the supplied glass.
Pours a nice amber color, clear, head dissipates quickly.
Mouthfeel is surprisingly thin, crisp, watery. Which doesn’t help the overall enjoyment.
Flavor is nutty, some oak. Some alcohol flavor comes through, astringent on the end of it, really turns me off on this. DMLINAZ (332) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JAN 25, 2014
From a bottle into a chilled Pint glass, shared with 2 brothers and a friend. Not enough hazelnut or dark for the name. Thin in the mouth. More flavor as it warms, quite decent toward the end.
