Fra cask på Star Inn Bath 3 Mai 17. Mørk nøttefarget. Skum langs glasset. Aroma av nøtter - og smaken likeså. Blir lett tørr & bitter etter hvert. Bra!

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2016 Cask at The Pump Bar, Seaview Hotel Isle of Wight. Clear amber and very inviting. Toffee aroma and smoky taste. Heavy going on a hot summer night but ok

Cask at Simon Arms, Ryde, IOW. Clear amber color, small white head. Toffee and minty hops in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Toffee, leafy hops, kind of mineralic finish. Mellow.

Towey1989 (2937) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2016
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of caramel, some toasted malts, slight nuts, a little fruit, a hint of ash and subtle earthy hops. Taste of caramel, fruits, some wood, slight nuts, a little ash and subtle earthy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish but slight astringent ashy bitterness in the finish. There’s like a smoky, ashy kinda taste throughout and the finish is a little astrigent. Started off ok but hard to drink after a while. Shame.

Smells like dishwater. Tastes better - hints of toffee, pine, malt. Not bad but nothing to rave about
