Bottle at the the Waterfront Inn, Shanklin during the IoW Jolly. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, toasty, wood, grain, caramel and dirt. The taste is bitter, toasted grain, brown bread, citrus peel and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad. imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2004
Cask conditioned at The Botanic Gardens, Ventnor, I.o.W. Light amber beer with bubbly head. Well balanced malty bitter with a tangy, lemony hop overlay. Plenty of condition, the beer maintains a refreshing dryness throughout. mR_fr0g (12119) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2011
Bottle from Tesco. Burnt orange pour with absolutely no head. This bottle may not have been treated very well. Big skunky metalic smell. Palete is very thin. Flavour is metalic slightly nutty. Worst beer I’ve have in a long time. Desverger (11455) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2015

Flasche(Dank an Sabine!): Deep golden , a bit unclear, quite quickly collapsing loose off-white head, dry fruity-malty nose, tannic hops and an illusion of almonds detectable; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, a certain malty base still present; pretty light bodied but not watery at all; mild but still quite spicy bitter-fruity finish. Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Amber gold with an off white head. Aromas are weetabix and light lemon with trace lime. Earthy with peppery hops. Flavours are dry biscuit with weetabix and pithy, bitter lemon. Clean on the palate with peppery spiciness. Not bad. Fin (10541) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2011
Cask, at JDW The Palmerston Arms, Southsea 24.06.11 Pours amber with a slim white head, there is good clarity to this. Touch of sharpness and fruit on the nose, fruity in the mouth, touch dry, middling bitterness. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1 ManVsBeer (10467) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2013
