A robust bitter with plenty of flavour that explodes im your mouth.Very well balanced and in a field full of mundane bitters this one really stands out. Patrickctenchi (6807) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Pours red-amber with active off white head.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 5 April 2012) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, apricots and slightly earthy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of apricots, citrus and a generous earthy/citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Well balanced with an attractive hop character. Nice one. McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 9, 2014

Cask conditioned at The Botanic Gardens, Ventnor, I.o.W. Light amber beer with bubbly head. Well balanced malty bitter with a tangy, lemony hop overlay. Plenty of condition, the beer maintains a refreshing dryness throughout. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2006
Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BBE Oct 06). Fruity hops to the fore with gentle malt sweetness in the mouth. Well balanced but just lacking a little pazaz. harrisoni (19534) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2006
Cask at GBBF 2006. Copper colour with bubbly beige head. Good floral hop and yeast aroma. OK bitter. Goodish hop on end. Some caramel. In fact I rather like the hop on this and a good start to the Thursday session. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Cask (GBBF 2006): Quite nice simple nutty malts with earthy hops. Balanced and Morish. I bet they brewed this specially for Trevor.
