Amber, bit hazy with rich light beige creamy head. Slightly malt aroma with sour fruity and roasted grain notes. Medium sweet-sour followed by roasted bitterness.

Syfher (489) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 11, 2016
Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Nice red, pale beer. Not the greatest I must admit : we’re in front of a beer with a nice red colour with a white, fluffy head. But, the aroma, even if it’s great, is very subtle, and the taste may be a little fast... No really aftertaste. Try it, but don’t expect a lot of it.

Bottle, 33cL. @Pizzeria Il Padrino, Bouillon, July. An orange sparkling beer with brown hues ; light opaque ; big off-white foamy head ; medium retention. Good lacing. Cereal aroma, roast, light caramel, light biscuit, licorice. Light sweet, light dry bitter. Medium body and texture, average to soft carbonation, sweet spicy finish. Overall, a pleasant one, nothing foolish but OK with my pizza.

330ml bottle from Racines, Cassel. Pours amber with bubbly white head. Light sweetcorn aroma. Fairly dry taste, moderate vegetal elements, high carbonation, some spice, metallic notes.. not amazing.

jaghana (6226) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - OCT 30, 2014
Bottle 33cl, Nose is on vegetables and yellow fruits. Aroma is on orange, paper touch, belgian yeast, tannic amber malt notes. Very basic beer.

Alengrin (5635) - BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2014
Amber-coloured nephew of the Godefroy Blonde, with cream white foam and deep, almost bronze-like amber colour. Sweet caramel malts in the nose, nutty, red berries, pear; taste fruity, nutty malts, medium sweet, simple with thin mouthfeel and insufficient hop bitterness. Boring but not as boring as its blonde counterpart.
