PanMarek (417) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2016
Pours golden, clear with little foam. Slightly slick body, but moderately dry finish. Mild flavor but strong ABV. Familiar lager notes with a touch of bitterness. Cereal malts and slightly piney hops.

500ml can BB 10/5/17 Grainy cereal aroma. Light pale straw with ok head. Taste is pretty much wet cardboard which dominates which is surprising given the BB. Also slight metallic sourness at the back. Could not finish the can so straight to drain. Blah!!!

ALLOVATE (2992) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 15, 2015
Produces up a bright, sunny gold and still with no head. A hint of cider vinegar over some heavily bready, cereal malts on the nose. Sugary sweet like artificial sweetener with a tannic, rusty astringency in back and dry, heated finish. Light bodied yet feels cumbersome with moderate carbonation. Bready cereal grains like the aroma otherwise. Euro-Strong Indian style. Ill-defined but drinkable booze. (33cL, BB 01/01/16, Luckies Liquor, East Vic. Park)

Erzengel (8495) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 30, 2014
Many thanks to kevnic2008, sharing this brew! The beer starts malty-sweetish. Very sweet with nearly no bitterness. Highly drinkable, a bit metallic, sweet but not sticky. The aftertaste is fresh, hints of sourness, malty-sweetish, easy to drink and not too bad for what it wants to be.

Bottle. A clear golden colour with a small white head. An aroma of malt, caramel and corn. The taste is medium sweet.

maekchu (3796) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle from Yamaya (one of their We Are the World, or something like that, beers, newly imported to Japan for the World Cup .... though India is not in the competition). Sugary malty nose, cardboard, and a bit of fruit and light fumes. Clear golden straw color. Yucky sweet maltiness, a shovel of grain dumped in, and a bit of light tang in mid palate. All fairly unpleasant. Medium body. Pretty rough and alcoholic.

Pours a beautiful clear golden color. Goes downhill from there. Steeply. Aroma smells of tears and the rubber surgical gloves from a liver transplant gone wrong. Taste of Band-Aid and plastic Bud Light 6-pack rings up front, followed by an aftertaste evocative of my misspent youth swilling similar beers in distant Asian ports-of-call during my US Navy liberty excursions. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
