3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hand-pulled half pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 13 Nov 2012.
Amber with an off-white head.
Fruity aroma, with a mixed herb sort of smell as well.
The beer is hoppy and fruity in the mouth with again those herbs in the background. Semi-sweet at first with a dry slightly bitter finish.
Nothing special, but a decent enough beer.
Nice with good flavours. Not very exciting though and while would drink again wouldn?t rush to. berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2013
Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a loose white head; earthy, grainy aroma; sour grain taste with some appley fruit; then a dry biscuity finish. Quite satisfying, but a rather basic bitter. Otterdance (164) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2013
