bottle @ Rewe Market / Schwaebisch Gmuend Germany --- Aroma of caramel malt. Hazy amber brown color, two-finger tan head, dots and blobs of lace. Taste is caramel malt that becomes more toffee-like as it moves through medium fizz to very light spice and light hops. Nothing big going on here, but, it is quite agreeable, and better than most of the other "small" brews I had while in Germany. I would drink it again. (bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Initially quite sulfuric aroma with mildly toasted malt, bread, caramel and traces of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy malty, slightly toasty taste with hints of caramel; medium-dry toast-malty and delicately hop bitter finish. 20.VI.16

Hazy brown with little beige head. Aroma is dried figs, a little sulfur and rusty nails. Taste is carbonation induced sourness some uncanny sweetness and booze. Velvety mouthfeel, not at all watery, more of the sweetness in the finish. Overall actually not that great.

Bottle. Light coffee and sweet caramel aroma with light banana and brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, malty brown sugar with faint banana and low bitterness. Accents of coffee with cream and faint chocolate. Medium body, moderate to medium carbonation, smooth.
