Draft at the brewpub. Another clean unoffending offering. But it’s essentially Budweiser ... Golden, cookie malt. OK, not great. (#5777, 10/7/2014) 60minuteman (1716) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Clear pale brown. Small white head. Not much up front but a solid spice and malt backbone. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear dark gold with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. Some light lacing. Very light nose, a little bit of butter and a touch of crackery malt. The flavor shows a touch of diacetyl at first, but it becomes especially noticable on the finish. Minimal to no hops. A little heavier bodied than the Blond Lager with a touch of doughy stickiness and fizzy carbonation. Could have been better than the Blonde, but the diacetyl didn’t do too well by me. On tap in the Kutztown Tavern brewery. Clear copper pour with a light foam head, some lacing. Light grains on the nose. Very mild in flavor and finish. Nejhleader (1561) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2007
similiar to the other lagers here, this one is a bit flat and watery, Did have more in the taste category though, has a bit of a malt element to it.

On tap at the Golden Avalance Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grain and had a light butteriness to it. Tastes was the same without the butter. The 3rd Pale Lager in a row that I tasted from them! jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 3, 2005
on tap-pours an offwhite head and a nice gold color. Aroma is grain, light hop. Taste is grain, mild carbonation. Again, finishes with a flatness. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - NOV 7, 2004
This is Yuengling Lager. They really just need to admit to themselves that it is. Say them both fast, Yuengling/YoungAllen. It’s basically the same tsarman (794) - Northern, New Jersey, USA - NOV 5, 2004
Yinger. Young Allen. Same difference. A decent lager, the best lager this place has. Not saying much, but decent. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 19, 2004
EXACT Yuengling clone. I mean, I heard the bartender say "no, we don’t have Yuengling on tap but we have Young Allen’s." See my Yuengling Lager review but take out any mention of "cheap" and "widely available."
