Tasted from tap at the Great New Zealand Beer Festival. It looks like Porter ought to - dark with a rosy tint in the dimple (Hmm. Rosy tint in the dimple. Try saying that ten times. Lovely). The aromas replicated the flavours: roasty and toasty with a good niff of the Dutch licorice that was added. It also carried a lovely warm spiciness similar to garam masala. A special mention for the mouthfeel that coated the inside of the mouth with gorgeous fluffy bubbles. I like porter and I loved this beer. Job well done Golden Bear.
