COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1998 the Golden Brau brand started being produced, currently being the best-sold beer in Romania. The beer has a clear appearance, with a characteristic glitter and carbon dioxide pearls, having white, dense foam leaving a lacy trace on the glass. The yellow color reflects the image of golden wheat fields in the summer heat. The carbon dioxide content creates a sensation of liveliness and coolness.

Editor’s Note: This brand is also produced at other Brau Union plants, most notably Wieselburger in Austria.
ABV and Plato went from 4.8% and 11° to 5% and 11.2°.

Can. Watery, light tart, slightly malty, probably oxidised - with a note somewhere in between cardboard and nutshells. Bad.

Una pils in stile ceco prodotta in romania. Nulla di eccezionale, una birra comune ma bevibile e gradevole

Can from Timisoara ’enjoyed’ in Belgrade with Travlr. normal yellow lager appearance, soapy foam. eggy grain aroma. Balanced enough body that tastes better, by a bit, than it smells. Cardboard some sour grain alcohol. No thanks.

Can from a supermarket in Timisoara. Crystal clear pale yellow color, thin gray edge head, champagne bubbles. Gray? Aroma of light corn flakes cereal. Taste is peppery straw. Not offensive, really.

Thanks to ciocanelu for this 0,5l can, 02/10/14 T32756420 17:39
Darker golden in the glass, white head. The beer is grainy in the nose, starts smooth and slightly sweet. Highly drinkable. The mainpart is a bit bready, slightly grainy-sourish, highly drinkable and nearly not hopped. The aftertaste is short, smooth, bready-grainy.
Highly drinkable session-lager, but not more. --> 7/12/6/6

Pale yellow colour. Refreshing beer when it’s cold. When it warms up it becomes a dusty mess of artificial flavours.

0.5 liter Austrian can from a market in Firenze. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is lightly bready with hints of noble hop. Med minus body. Flavor is bready with noble hop. More premium lager than pils, but it would serve to swill with food.
