COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer needs a siren, so we brewed this beer to ring in another toasty Los Angeles summer. This bright, refreshingly tart wheat beer is our ode to the traditional German Berliner Weisse, which boasts some substantial pucker power. Take much to tradition? Ask for yours served with Woodruff or raspberry syrup. You may call this beer “Summer in a Glass” if you’d like.

bleh. Taste, aroma even appearance all seem like lemons on wheat soaked water. I must admit this is my first time trying the style but holy nuts this was tough to get dow. Super puckering, not rewarding, not refreshing. I will say it looks good.

On tap at the Golden Road location in the marketplace. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft wheat a touch of musk on the nose. Faintly fruity, wheat. Medium bodied, thins a bit, soft vinous notes, white wine and a soft tart acidity. Tangy in the most subtle way, not really prominent, more like spoiled fruit than actual acidity. Grainy, sweet, drinkable enough.

Pours a half finger on a hazy golden body. Aroma is lemon zest. Taste is nicely tart, raspberry seed flavor, clean finish. Texture is crisp. Easy and enjoyable.

Full pour on draft at Cafeteria 15L, Sacramento International Airport. Served in a Belgian snifter. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, light tart notes. Tastes of light tart notes, lemon and orange citrus. Light body with a dry finish. Fairly light tartness for a berliner but solid.

Tap @ Keg & Brew. Light straw colour with small white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus blossom and just a touch of vinegar. Very refreshing wheat dominated flavour, with moderate sourness and a slight savouriness. Very refreshing and full flavoured, and at under 3% ABV, how many could I drink?!

4oz from flight at the brewery. Poured a very pale yellow color with a small, fizzy white head. Aroma was notes of lemon, light grain character. Crisp notes. Not a lot of tartness in this one, which was a touch disappointing. Refreshing in the super hot heat though.
