RATINGS: 42   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.51/5   SEASONAL: Special   EST. CALORIES: 240   ABV: 8%
Deep amber-colored ale with a light smoky aroma balancing subtle floral hop notes. At 8% abv, a full malty backbone and dank hoppy bitterness intertwine with its complex, smokey body to pair very favorably with grilled foods.

Can from BevMo. Golden/amber in color. Highly hopped nose of citrus. Fairly sweet as well. Not much in the way of smoke in the aroma. Hoppy and sweet up front. Good bitter citric finish. I can’t really tell that it’s smoked.

Orange amber with an off-white head, decent retention and very nice lace. Smokiness jumps out in the aroma, which other wise is composed of light caramel malt and grassy hops that is almost hidden. Caramel sweetness is balanced quickly by a crisp hop bitterness that lingers as a resinous pine. Smoke blends in nicely. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, generously carbonated, and a crisp finish.

draft at far bar, great big malty resiny dank bomb, nice to see this on the west coast, the east coast/west coast IPA battle has died about as fast at 2pac and biggie.

Pours an amber color with a smoky malt aroma. Taste is bitter with a typical IPA aftertaste. A full malty beer that hits you with the hops upfront. The smoky flavor is barely evident, and is overpowered by the hops.

Bell pepper green aroma. Clear. Excellent carbonation. Strange bell pepper metallic taste, not good. And no it is not because of can or any other psych blah blah. I have had plenty of cans not metallic.

Can, light orange almost yellow. Clear as a washed window. White head, minimal aroma, grassy bitter, melon finish. Not bad, good to be able to take this to where bottles are not allowed.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Deep amber color with a creamy head. Very appealing aroma. Unusual smoky flavor that quickly grows on you. Very good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned @ home, courtesy of womencantsail. Thanks bra. Pours a clear, copper orange appearance with an off white head. Kind of weird metallic, smoked, grapefruit citrusy aroma. Somewhat chewy malty, light caramel, orange/grapefruity, burnt char, smoked, a bit salty flavor. Weird and honestly, I’m not a bit fan.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit and light smoke aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor with light cocoa and light smoke. Medium bodied. OK bitterness. Pine and grapefruit linger with smoke, light caramel, and light cocoa.
