One of the few great Hefs not from Bavaria. Easy to drink but lots of great and interesting flavors. foamyhead (16) - California, USA - FEB 5, 2012
I was disappointed that at the brewery they don’t pour it with a big thick head like they do in Germany. I pour it thick out of the can and let the aromas emanate.
I actually like it better from the can than from the tap, but I’m not sure if that was just my mood or the product. More research will be needed in this area.
Unfiltered and beautifully so, the Hefe delivers in every way that a Hefe ought to.
Great big flavors of wheat, and spice with hints of citrus and banana. Nice light moutfeel that lets you knock em back and a great citrusy finish.

Spiced banana aromas. Glowing or age with a white frothy head. Very smooth definitely banana notes to the taste. Great body as expected from a hefe. beeroverthere (81) - USA - JAN 29, 2012
Aroma: Wheaty with some yeats
Body: Good sout hGerman wheat flavors but slightly liter. West coast touch with some hopps bitterness
Finish: Slightly sweet
Over-all/Mouth-feel: Refreshing, slightly lighter than most German wheat beers. Very drinkable beer. The beer have some of the west coast hoppyness.

Had a pint on tap at Mohawk Bend. Delicious, light, refreshing, loaded with banana hefe character.
