Again, just not overly impressed with the Golden Road IPAs. I keep expecting to get more of a flavor profile from the hops, but it falls flat. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2014

Can shared at chriso’s - thanks to Ethereal. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Pale bread in the nose, some pine, honey, hay. Medium sweet flavor with oily hops, pine, white bread, light bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild resins to finish, further dry pale bread, pine needles. Very decent. Can thanks to Caspar. It pours golden with a small white head. The nose is orange, mango, sherbet, lychee, grainy and sticky tropical fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, grapefruit peel, lemon sherbet, pithy, resin and pine needles with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Crisp, bitter and pretty drinkable.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is a nice citrus smell. Easy.
The taste is bold but balanced. Lots of lemon and grapefruit bitterness with a touch of pineapple.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It’s a tasty IPA. greenhorn1 (850) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JUN 15, 2014
On tap at Lazy Dog. Pours yellow, not much aroma. Flavor lacks the hoppiness of an IPA. More like an amber style, heavy on the malt. Not much bitterness in the finish.

ON TAP ($3.75 per pint) This is a really mediocre IPA. has a metallic bitter taste that overpowers the entire beer. Pretty gross actually. At 5.9% its a very lightweight IPA. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Can. Hazy gold. The nose is grapefruit with some pine. The taste adds more west coast citrusy hops and resins. Dry finish, medium carb. Pretty good, not great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
