Murky golden color with thin white head. Slight floral notes from the hops. Crisp medium finish. This beer is complex enough to be desirable but the hops aren’t very overwhelming, so you could easily drink a few of these on a hot day.

Maris (1587) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 26, 2015
From a 355ml can on 26/5/2015. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a bright white medium head. Has a pleasant troical/stone fruit hop aroma. Flavour wise, there’s lots of peach, apricot and passionfruit. There’s not a lot of malt evident, and it’s not particularly sweet, with the grapefruity bitterness ultimately holding sway. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Solid.

Can. Clear pale gold, thick, but vanishing head.
Aroma is a dank, pine, and citrus, with some sweet malt.
Flavor is citrus and pine hops, and light honey sweetness. Easy drinker.

Draught at the Border Grill, LAX, CA. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Mild fruity hoppy aroma. Served crazy cold. The flavour is piney hops, mild bitterness and some sweet maltiness. Drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Brilliantly clear liquid gold with a fluffy head of cloud-white. Hop aroma is very mild -- I struggle to pick up much of it at all. Maybe a little lime peel, but it’s faint. More apparent is an earthy honey note, as well as rose petals. The flavor has none of the bright, West Coast-style flavors the brewery describes; instead the beer exhibits soft, floral bitterness. The orange blossom honey picked up in the nose is here as well, adding a sweetness to the front of the flavor that’s completely eradicated at the swallow. Very dry, balanced finish. Body is a velvety medium; CO2 is mild. A good IPA to have several of -- what this one lacks in zippy hop flavor, it makes up for in drinkability.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy off white head. Tastes like light citrus, grapefruit fruit, lemon, a hint of caramel, floral, and pine. Light /medium body and carbonation. Smells like grapefruit and lemon hops, toast, light pine and caramel.

Hazy golden color with small head. Dry, pungent, with a good crackery malt backbone, and very good quality hopping: in other words a deeply satisfying IPA. The hops are fairly resiny, and with citrus fruit component too; there are fruitier IPAs out there, this one is more appropriate for a sunny afternoon.
