On tap at Keg and Brew in Surry Hills for SCBW. Pours deep golden amber. First sip packs a punch, which then mellows out with each sip. Good carbonation. Hoppy, funky, tasty and fresh. A nice little IPA. mkel07 (6546) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 27, 2016
Can from Beer Cartel 220916. Yet another very good beer from what is fast becoming one of my favourite US breweries as they never fail to deliver when it comes to flavour. Not only are their beers great but the cans that they come in are first class. This is an IPA that holds the alcohol well and is well balanced with no ingredient overpowering the others. Poured with a big head of white foam that sat atop a dark amber beer that smelt of pine forest leading to a citrus orchard. In the mouth there was the slightest hint of sticky resinous mouthfeel and a subtle bitterness. My aim is to try this beer at a bar in LA or even at the brewery itself. Solid ale - quite a bit of sweet malt balanced well with herbal/piney/fruity hops - a tad two dimensional - good bitter finish - like this a lot. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 13, 2015
16oz can pours with a pure gold body that supports a tall dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up some lemon and grapefruit and a bit of ripe wet clementine with thin slightly caramel like malts around the edges. The taste delivers a decent hit of bitter grapefruit and tangerine like citrus hops with thin ribbons of floral hops and spicy earthy dank hops in the background. It gets resiny with hops about midway as it becomes mildly muddled by malts. Overall this drinks pretty good. bytemesis (9464) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 12, 2015

Can. Gold with a large white head. Aroma of mandarins, caramel syrup, some peach. A strange minerally aroma that reminds me of clean up in the fish area of the market - not offensive but odd and a bit intrusive. Not as highly carbonated as it looks. Sweet with caramel and vanilla. Not as much citrus as suggested by the aroma, some grassy and herbal notes. Moderate to high bitterness in a finish that could be drier for me. Odd.
Draught at Golden Road Brewing, Los Angeles. Clear golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grassy, caramel, swimming pool notes. Malty caramel flavor, earthy, hay, grass, citrus notes, a bit floral. Ok beer but a bit too much on the malty side at first. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 25, 2015
On tap @ Golden Road. Lightly hazed golden pour with a finger of white head. There’s a good bit of grapefruit and orange zest. Slight lemon rind, some tangerine, and a touch of onion. A pretty strong bitterness and definitely a high citric acidity feel to it as well. Rather carbonated, which enhances those things... Light malt flavor and bready sweetness. Pretty nice. rick_91709 (524) - USA - SEP 24, 2015
Poured from a can. Pale gold color. Huge white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus heavy. Bitter citrus taste. Decent.
