COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a balanced showcase of the majestic hop specie, in Latin, Humulus Lupulus, which translates Wolf Among Weeds. Its our celebration of Californias enthusiasm for hop-forward IPAs. At 8%, Wolf will sneak up on you from behind the robust citrus and dank earthy hop notes mirrored in its aroma and flavour profile.

16 oz. can. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a thick white cap of foam that settles to a film leaving some nice lacing. Faint aroma of pine hops and malt. Medium body, the flavor is a good balance of malt and hops. Finish is sweet and hoppy. Overall, a good beer. Could have several at a time.

Aroma is big citrus/fruit, tropical fruit and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts and a bitter/slightly sweet/dry finish.

Pint can. Nose resin, half-caramel, heavy tangerine and a splash of grapefruit, strong pine. Pour is richly clear golden, and I mean golden-golden, with a short and slightly fizzy off-white head. Lightly numbing in the mouth, strong wood with medium paper scratch, medium bitterness, moderate dryness; on the whole clean and very oily, heavily perfumed with small dank notes but much larger florality and medium-strong alcohol showing. Soft medium body but everything is out of balance. Grainy and earthy in the aftertaste along with minor fusels, bit of a grassy-weedy (not that weedy) feel with that earthiness sometimes turning to dirt. Very similar to its pup, certainly not double the flavor or intensity, and the hoppiness seems to have suffered somewhat along with the effervescence (I know I have this the other way around). Soft pass, probably even a hard pass most days. [2017.02.16: 2.4]

16oz can from Manahawkin Spirits. Pours a chill hazed golden yellow color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, old lemons, sweet bready malts, and floral hops. Taste is much the same with some nice citrus bitterness. Pretty crushable at 8%. Solid

Golden Road, LAX. Creamy white cream, mostly clear bright yellow gold. Nice fresh, Dank green hops on nose. Clean fruity and bitter hops. Not sure if it was the two weeks in South America, but this is hitting the spot. Pretty clean, soft tropical fruits. Moderate, refining bitterness. A bit light in body, fairly clean. Nice.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2017 DIPA from a tallboy can shared by and with Ster at her place, thanks! From one of those craft breweries taken over by AB InBev, this one in Los Angeles. Moussy, egg-white, dense and very stable head, hazy straw blonde robe with warmer peachy hue. Aroma of lime peel, grapefruit, starfruit, mango, pine resin, paprika, raw celery, courgette, bread crust. Fruity onset, hints of kiwi, mango and some passion fruit, sweetish with sourish balance, bit minerally and green, smooth mouthfeel with softish carbo fit for the style; soft, fluffy, supple mouthfeel, bit oily. Bready backbone, leading to a long, aromatic hop finish, very citrusy, a bit piney and spicy, with retronasal grapefruit juice and lime notes plus some late, warming but otherwise well-hidden alcohol. Typical but more than decent American DIPA, apparently AB InBevs product development department hasnt reached this one yet...
