COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a balanced showcase of the majestic hop specie, in Latin, Humulus Lupulus, which translates Wolf Among Weeds. Its our celebration of Californias enthusiasm for hop-forward IPAs. At 8%, Wolf will sneak up on you from behind the robust citrus and dank earthy hop notes mirrored in its aroma and flavour profile.

Better than avg dipa but overall pretty unremarkable. Light yellow colour, well balanced, foamy head poured from can, piney, citrusy hop flavours.

Slightly hazy gold pour with a tall, chunky, off white head. Aroma is loaded with citrus, spicy, beery and dank hops, some earthy and tropical fruit as well. caramel, overdone bread, floral hops and a little toffee. Flavor is loaded with citrus notes, juicy, zesty, candied, bitter and sweet citrus. Some earthy hops, and a hint of tropical fruit, fruity and lightly bready yeast, hints of cracker malt. Medium body, slightly chalky, but syrupy entry, medium, sharp carbonation, slightly oily, but dry finish with a decent hop acid bite. Really tasty stuff, just a great, citrus centered, kinda dank IIPA.

Wow! This beer blew me away and its been a while since an IIPA has done that. Aroma was near perfect. It literally blew me away with hop smells. Grass, pine and grapefruit. Smell was strong and literally burst out of the glass. Pour was a nice light bubbly gold with a half finger off white head. Taste was awesome. Old school west coast IPA with all focus on hops without trying to balance anything. Lemon, grass, dank pine and grapefruit. Slightly hot and deliciously bitter. Medium carbonation with a nice strong bitter finish. Wow

Pours a light gold, fluffy head. Nice hoppy aroma, reminds me of sixpoint. Fresh light fruit and citrus.Crispy light bready malts. Same in taste, nice resin undertone, good really soft malts, light bready and crackery, some light pine evergreen. Really nice, drinks lighter than 8%. Well deserved rating for a lighter in color ipa.

16 oz. can. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a thick white cap of foam that settles to a film leaving some nice lacing. Faint aroma of pine hops and malt. Medium body, the flavor is a good balance of malt and hops. Finish is sweet and hoppy. Overall, a good beer. Could have several at a time.

Aroma is big citrus/fruit, tropical fruit and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts and a bitter/slightly sweet/dry finish.

Pint can. Nose resin, half-caramel, heavy tangerine and a splash of grapefruit, strong pine. Pour is richly clear golden, and I mean golden-golden, with a short and slightly fizzy off-white head. Lightly numbing in the mouth, strong wood with medium paper scratch, medium bitterness, moderate dryness; on the whole clean and very oily, heavily perfumed with small dank notes but much larger florality and medium-strong alcohol showing. Soft medium body but everything is out of balance. Grainy and earthy in the aftertaste along with minor fusels, bit of a grassy-weedy (not that weedy) feel with that earthiness sometimes turning to dirt. Very similar to its pup, certainly not double the flavor or intensity, and the hoppiness seems to have suffered somewhat along with the effervescence (I know I have this the other way around). Soft pass, probably even a hard pass most days. [2017.02.16: 2.4]

16oz can from Manahawkin Spirits. Pours a chill hazed golden yellow color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, old lemons, sweet bready malts, and floral hops. Taste is much the same with some nice citrus bitterness. Pretty crushable at 8%. Solid
