Cask at GBBF. Dark reddy brown, still, small foamy tan head. Aroma is resinous, citrus. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light, earthy, resinous, citrussy, smooth minty finish. A bit underdone maybe but decent. Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear brown with a small beige head. The nose is soft, rich roast, red fruits, jam, dried berry and dull pine notes. The taste is bitter, charred wood, toast, roasted malt, leather, bitter-sweet character and pepper. Medium body and fine carbonation. Simple and easy-going. Not particularly hoppy in my opinion…
