Decent pale ale that strikes a nice balance between the citrus hops and caramel malt. Easy drinking session beer. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 24, 2009
Larger hop profile than many pale ales. Not quite buttery like an extra, but enough mixture or styles. Earthier hops. BK7 (773) - Turner, Oregon, USA - MAY 10, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. A mild American Pale Ale. Light caramel background with a mild hoppy profile throughout. Nothing stands out with this brew. BeerGestapo (754) - Mt.Joy, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 16, 2009
Brewed in the USA...... 4th of July bash. Pours a hazy yellowish color with zero head. Aroma of citrus, mild hops, and caramel. Taste of grass, very mild hops and malts. The mouthfeel is thin and kind of soapy, very strange? TheCaptain (613) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2009
Another bottle shared on the 4th- Slight hazy amber with little head. Low carbonation, light hops on the nose. Thin, grassy mild and mellow.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2008 From a 12 ounce brown bottle. Poured into a 12 ounce clear glass tumbler. Enormous white head atop an orange-amber beer. Big aroma of hops and citrus. Very slightly bitter finish. Never did get the head less than about 3 inches. Dimpled cloud-like head. Truly a sessionable APA. Will be trying the on-tap version when I can. Kudos to Golden Valley Brewery for the label design...Very distinctive and classy. Good session APA. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - JUN 21, 2009
Apperance is galden brown with slow fading white head, aroma pale malt with hints of floral hops. flavor has an interesting mix little bit of caramel floral hops, has a slight after taste that I am not to fond of. linc33 (184) - Albany, New York, USA - JUL 2, 2006
On tap at Golden Valley Brewery. Copper coloured. Light hop in the mouth and strong, over-hopped bitterness in the finish. Slight citrus also. Definitely the best one here, but not worth purchasing. CaptKirk (175) - Hephzibah, Georgia, USA - OCT 26, 2005
Had the sampler of this at the brewery. Came amber in color with no head. Citrus aroma that reminded me of their wheat. Very smooth for a pale ale. I was pleasantly surprised.
