The best beer they had on tap. Big roasted aroma with lots of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is nicely balanced with a smooth and creamy body. Very flavorful, moreso than the stout. Dark chocolate finish lingers on the tongue. cathcacr (647) - Oregon, USA - OCT 11, 2007
Bomber. Prominent roasty notes. I’d say "licoricey" but it’s not sweet. A sharp Porter, as sharp chedder is to cheddar, with similar back-roast underlying the main flavor. Great, lasting, light-tan head and generous lacing. Has an inkling of wateriness lurking under there.

clear dark brown, fine beige head, hoppy and roasted malt flavor, very carbonated body, tart roasted and chocolate flavor, sourness grows until it takes over,

Bomber. It smells like chocolate, and maybe a bit of roasted/toasted malt. The color is opaque brown/black, and the tan head is multi-fingered. Thin to medium bodied, with rather fizzy carbonation - no bite though. The start is coffee, followed by chocolate. It is roasted malty sweetness, and the finish is relatively dry and coffee bitter, if you can wait for awhile. Very pleasant. Impressive pour. adrian910ss (2575) - Doylestown, PA, USA - MAY 31, 2007
22 oz bomber. Pours a black color with a large foamy brownish beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and touch of smoke. Taste is of roasted malts, some chocolate and a slightly bitter finish. Nothing spectacular here, but not that bad either.

Poured a clear dark brown with a large tan head. Smokey and plasticy phenolic notes. When I took a deep breath it smelled like sour feet. The flavor was tart with a hint of roast. Light bodied. I am guessing this is an infection and not intended. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 2, 2007
Pours a deep black with a light brown head. Aroma is malty, roasted malts, some chocolate notes, and sour. Flavor is malty, sour fruity notes, with some roasted malts. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 2, 2007
Pours an opaque with dark brown edges and a frothy dark tan head. Aroma of cherry tartness and some lightly roasted malts. Body starts light and fizzy with a touch of sweet dark caramel before sourness takes over toward a warming slightly acidic finish. Seems like it would be a nice porter were it not as acidic. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - APR 15, 2007
22 oz. bottle shared with Padrefan98. Nice chocolate aromas off this almost black pour with no head. No head due to a very small amount of carbonation. Flavors were some roastiness with a strange bitterness on the finish. Average... padrefan98 (854) - (San Diego) Santee, California, USA - APR 15, 2007
22 oz bottle thanks to degarth. Poured a dark black with no head. Smells of roasted chocholate. Average porter, but good.
