Draft pour pint at Golden Valley, presented on nitro. Near black pour, thick cream. Drinks like chocolate milk. Smooth, creamy and delicious. Very interesting cocoa, toffee like aroma. Roasted malt, battling a subtle sweetness. Very tasty stout here. jackl (8557) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2017
Keg @ Golden Valley. Deep brown pour with a tight, creamy tan head. Nose is fairly mild-mannered. A bit of chocolate, little else. Smooth and supple body with a bit of earthy roast malt. Fine carbonation. OK. BuckeyeBoy (8861) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 18, 2016

On tap at Golden Valley, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is robust, with notes of dry cocoa, oats, and toasted bread. Flavour is similar, with low residual sweetness - oats, cocoa, and roasted malt. Thick palate without much sweetness at all. Well-constructed and enjoyable. Good. On tap in Beaverton. Pours a murky brown color with a medium tan head. A big fruity and roasted malt nose. Dark fruits, plum, some sweet white chocolate and cocoa. Roasted throughout. Good. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 4, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a black body with a finger-width, dense and very creamy, chocolate milk colored head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is sweet and rich, milky and dark chocolates with a bit of a malted milk ball essence. A moderate amount of creamy roasts, a bit of a lactose sweetness, and touches of licorice. Flavor is similar. Creamy roasts and a nice mix of dark and milky chocolates that seem a bit accentuated by some lactose additions. A light ashy note, touches of licorice, smooth oats, and a light earthy bitterness as this finishes creamy and dry before leaving lengthy a aftertaste. Medium, smooth body and a soft, creamy, light carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid sweet stout. Rich, creamy, and roasty with a very soft, pleasant body. Nice beer.
