3fourths (9351) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 1, 2015
Lightly hazed copper amber with a short white head and no retention. Malty, metallic, sharp aroma and flavor that shows a lot of cara red characteristics (apple jelly, toasted grain, pastries). Medium-light body, sweet with low carbonation and low bitterness. Nicely frothy and filling across the middle, but also syrupy and flabby in the mouth with a lingering sweet finish of maraschino cherry and candy apple. Simple and sweet landbier that’s made under contract now that the brewery is closed.

MoritzF (10018) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - OCT 31, 2013
(draught at the brewpub) Hazy, deep amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly buttery cara-malty aroma with mildly bready and hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Hearty, mildly bready and buttery (cara-)malty taste; sweet malty finish with late arriving herbal hoppy bitterness. A bit on the sweet side, otherwise decent Franconian quality. 25.X.13

downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2013
On tap at the brewpub, 26/7/2013. Orange in colour with a slight and short-lived white head. Very easy drinking beer, with some caramel sweetness, touch of floral hop and hint of citrus, before a decent bitter finish. Very drinkable on a hot summer afternoon.

TEJA (3141) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2011
Draught at their brewpub in Höfen. Light brown but thin lace.Red-brown color that is pale far a dunkel. Small butter aroma, a second batch was much better without butter. sweet caramell maltiness with a small bitterness.

3.1
Koelschtrinker (20782) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 23, 2011
