Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2009
Bottle from brewery. Pours darker than expected. A nice amber colored beer with thick white head and grandma lacing. Excellent bready aromas with plenty of mouthwatering floral hops. It’s delicious! Flavors are unexpectedly better than the aromas with whole grain pasta nuttiness and a dry finish to boot. Oakes (18467) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 2, 2009
Golden-brown with a nice head. Rich bready aroma with light toffee notes. The body is thin, the flavour is bready and nutty. Dryish finish for the style. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2012

medium-dark brown body, lightly hazed, mostly white head. very faint nose of washed out toasted grains and mild dry cocoa powder with a small touch of caramelized sugar / toffee. lightly doughy with low carbonation leaves the body and texture a bit watery, and at times it seems flavorless.
Gravity barrel at FrankenBierFest in Roma, March 2015. Lightly hazed rusty amber brown with a fine white head. Malty / toasty, a little apple-like, highly minerallic, light to moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, lots of malt richness in the way of red delicious apple and baked bread. Flowers and herb hoppiness, grassy noble in character. The texture is lightly syrupy and rich and savory. Good malt caramelization, a little smoky in the way of steinbeer actually. 7/4/7/4/15

Hops and wood in the aroma. Sweet, malty taste. Very fruity (pear, mango). Dusty and woody. Very nice beer from a small village brewery. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 4, 2006

Bottled (from landbierparadies). Copper colour with a small beige head. Aroma is wood, some resin, mild sweet malts as well as some slight herbal and non-sweet syrupy notes. Flavour is wood, resiny notes, some mild fruity notes as well as quite strong sweet and bready malts. Pleasantly balanced. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Clear, dark amber appearance with a cream colored head. Toasty malty, cracker, somewhat husky, light caramel aroma. A bit earthy, fairly floral and herbal hoppy, lightly woody, toasty caramel malty flavor. Not bad.
