Cask at the Cherry Tree Inn beer festival, Woodbridge. Pours clear dark amber with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruit, citrus and floral notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily sticky texture, soft carbonation. Decent draw.
Cask conditioned at The Bell Inn, Chichester, W.Sussex. Amber with white head. This proved to be quite a bitter, hoppy beer, some citric, lemony notes along with tangerine. There is a leafy, dry note in the close. Pleasant.
