I didn’t remember American Dark Lager was a style thank you Israel for reminding me. Pours transparent copper almost impossibly thin. Tastes very watery of malt, grains, light hops.

Ehhh... Pours a transparent copper with a a thin white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly malty but very faint. The mouthfeel is light and somewhat creamy. It’s quite drinkable and not offensive in any way. It’s by no means anything special but I could finish it without gagging.

Bottle. Poured dark amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet toasted flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

11.2oz bottle - pours light copper with quickly diminishing offwhite head. Nose is light caramel and floral hops. Flavor adds dough or bread qualities. Light sweetness and light bitterness. Light to medium body. Not offensive.

21/XI/12 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 8/I/13 (2012-1297) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the bottle!

Clear amber beer, small aery off-white head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: sweet grains, corn syrup, hay, stable, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, some citrus, apples, bitter, little grassy. Aftertaste: bitter, sugary, hay, toast, some caramel. Not the worst, but nothing too special either.

Just when you think you tasted evry pale lager, there is another one. But wait, this is in the dark lager style? Hahawah, that’s funny. Pale lager all the way, well, there may be a tinge of ever so slight light brown, way. But seriously, to call this dark is a howl. Other than those comments on the style, this is a fairly refreshing beer, not of those ill atrributes which you find up north from zion. Yep, pretty good mild laher, hides its 5% rather well. I wonder why I never had this before. Good over all well behaved finish.
