On tap at brewpub. Pours hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of malt, but fruity. Taste is medium sweet, very malty, pear.

From tap at Richtár Jakub, Bratislava. Pours clear golden liquid, medium white frothy head, fell down quickly, Aroma: light malty, light tar, Taste: light sweet, light bitter, light sour, mild malty taste, almost no hops, Palate: light body, slick mouthfeel, average carbonation, malty medium long aftertaste with mineral water like mouthfeel at the end. Overall: drinkable, light, malty, will not offend, but neither excite.

mgajdaczewa (2143) - Katowice, POLAND - JUL 21, 2014
Ziemiste. Pić tylko z zatkanym nosem.

Very good beer with fine taste. Interesting in some way and much better than competition in Kosice

This one is a very special for me, so the review is going to be highly subjective (not that reviews should be objective, but you get the point). Golem was my first contact with a "craft" beer. It was in times when I did not like beer all that much, I was drinking just occasionally, not really enjoying it all that much. The first time I had Golem I was amazed by its hazy rough looks and such a simple yet very pleasant flavor that was so much different to all macro lagers I had before. I come back to have a few Golems whenever I’m in Kosice and I still enjoy it very much. I’m glad it hasn’t lost its special character for me after I’ve discovered the varied world of beer. On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with lasting white head. Aroma is malt, cereal, hint of grassy and citrusy hops. Flavor is cereal, malt, hint of grassy hops. Very high drinkability.

Tapped at hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava/Slovakia. Innitial minor hop aroma, but the aroma tends to unfold itself after a few moments into its full glory! This beer has a tasty balanced hop and malt taste. Nice pleasant hop finish. Refreshing and very drinkable. Overall I think this is a great craft lager.

Draft at Brewpub. Quite hazy unfiltered, light yellow. Good foamy head, mild aroma. Somewhat funky, yeasty body, reminds of some Belgian-ness. White pepper, some soap. creamy, somewhat silky body. Quite alright, and pretty tasty.
