330ml bottle. As The Musketeers Jack’s Precious IPA. Pours dark golden yellow colour. Moderate white head. Fruitiness, hints of citrusses, sweetness, notes of candy sugar, caramelly aspects in the aroma. Slightly sweet, slightly caramelly, bit fruity taste. Slightly citrussy, hoppy finish. Bit soapy. Kind of artificial fruitiness in the end. Rather sweet. Light bodied, bit alcocholy IPA. caesar (7332) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2017
Bottle from Mitra Baarn as Jack's Precious IPA at 5.9% ABV with 50 IBU. Slight hazy golden color, medium rocky head. Aroma of onion and garlic together with spicy belgian yeast. Did they take Simcoe hops in combination with belgian yeast? Means a recipe for failure. Dry and garlicy bitter in taste. At the Proef you get what you ask for, so bad recipe making is the flaw here. Fantastic, smooth and delicious IPA with a decent balance of fruit and hops, with a leaning towards the fruitier side of things. Draught glass from Delirium Cafe, Brussels, as “Jack’s Precious IPA”.

At Café Botteltje, Ostend. Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains flowery hops, citrus, grapefruit, hay, pine, some yeast and honey. It tastes light fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter, with a long, subtly dry finish; never aggressive. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. A very 'sympathetic' IPA; great apéritif.
