Bottle. Golden dark amber, creamy golden head. Nice roasted chestnut, and chocolate aromanotes with a nice herbal hop counter. Strong chocolate and roast flavor, medium to light honeyish malt, wooden aftertaste. Fairly nice actually. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2006
(On tap) Very pretty, clear orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head. Lovely, sweet and roasted malt aroma - a typical Bock nose. Full body with loads of roasted malt and some caramel that never gets overly sweet. Good hopping in the finish. An excellent and harmonious Bock. 081106 leaparsons (10859) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2006
Bottle. Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Amber/brown with a cream head. Aromas are caramel, wheat and chocolate. Weetabix malts with spices. Flavours are weetabix malts and chocolate with lemon. Good warming alcohol. Soft in flavour but flavoursome. Very good. peermac (59) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2011
Fin mørk farge, ser innbydende ut. God balanse mellom kraftig malt-sødme og humle. Lang smak i munnen og frister til gjentakelse! chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2006
From the barrel at London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Rich, dark copper colour. Fruity malt aroma, although it seemed a bit "raw" to me. More fresh malt on the palate. Not too sweet, which, for me, is a plus. Not bad at all.

(swing top bottle, with thanks to pivnizub) Clear copper colour with big fluffy off-white foamy head. Sweet, toast-malty and nutty aroma. Sweet flavour. Strong and aromatic malty taste, toasty, slightly roasted with caramel on a herbal hoppy background; medium bodied, almost smooth carbonation; medium-dry; malty finish with bittering hops. Well-rounded Bock. Ungstrup (38867) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2007
Draft. A deep red beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with very light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with a good deal of caramel, and a light dry and alcohol finish. Good, but a rather mainstream bock. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 29, 2007
Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival 2007. Amber color. Fruity maltiness and toffee in the aroma. Very good malty flavor with toffee and some fruitiness. Well made! kappldav123 (6148) - GERMANY - SEP 30, 2008
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Strong aroma. Starts malty, strong, modest sweet, the finish is drier, a bit like wood, a bit smoky. Good bock! cgarvieuk (26360) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 23, 2009
