2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle best by Mar. 2016, consumed Dec. 2015: Light amber with a bit of haze. Fine-bubbled white foam. Dull and unclean nose of cola, papery malt, soggy cereal flakes and instant iced tea. Flimsy on the palate with lifeless carbonation. Sugary, flabby and cardboardy flavors precede the stewed-peach limpness. Cola sugars abound in the poorly attenuated body. Quite sloppy maltiness is papery and wet, akin to decaying hay. Curiously absent is any definition to the grain, and theres no vitality to be found anywhere. This faceless kellerbier is offensively worty and aimless, and aside from the study in defects it provides, is also pointless.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: faint; a little honey, a bit of grain, a whiff of hay. Appearance: light brown; hazy; head large, not particularly stable. Taste: slightly more sweet than either sour or bitter; feels not so much balanced as undecided. Palate: body fairly light; carbonation fizzy; finish faintly bitter, a little astringent, and corrosive. Overall: not exactly unpleasant as such, just watery, with little aroma and taste, not something worth coming back to.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle best by March 2016. Lightly hazed gold with a faint amber hue and lasting lacing. Awful smell of oxidized malt, brown banana, dry dog food, raw grains, wet hay, earth, lemon.
Light bodied, medium-light sweetness, low bitterness, watery and thin and flabby texture, finishing with notes of rotting fruit. Just plain awful, no maltiness, dirty doughy yeastiness, no hops, and its papery and oxidized.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Half litre bottle, poured into pint shaker. A: Pale amber, hazy, small head, moderate amount of lacing. S: Cork and hay, like a real country barn, became more pronounced as the beer warmed, some east Kent hop strangely appeared from somewhere. T: Slight sour fruity bitterness, finished with some barley sugar. M: Not much carbonation, thick texture. O: A well made Bavarian Kellerbier, I would drink it again.
