Test vom 8.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,9,6,10,7 - 7,75

Bierkrug (2129) - - MAR 6, 2011
500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a light yellow color with a soft light short lasting head. Aroma was not all that great for a greman beer. More like a Marco but still drinakable. Palate was strong but slightly offensive.

German pale lagers are better than American pale lagers, but this one is a bit too malty for me. It’s also quite heavy in the stomach. Flavorwise is pretty good except for being too malty.

SilkTork (5737) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2010
500ml swing-top bottle from BeersofEurope. Slightly buttery, slightly hoppy, fairly sweet pale lager. Drinkable.

Flip top bottle (BB 11/2009)
Deep golden color, small steady white head. Malty, slightly buttery nose. Medium-bodied. Grassy, malty with light buttery and metallic nose. Solid, but uninteresting pale lager.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 14, 2009
Bottled. Deep golden colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is malty, a bit grainy, bready as well as slightly earthy. Flavour is grass, wood, some bready malts and mild honeylike sweetness lurking in the background.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2009
Bottle, 4.9%. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour has some malt, hint of cream and paper. Hint of smoke in the finish.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 24, 2008
courtesy of Antonio Rey Ruiz - pours a clear amber-bronze colour under a solid off-white head; a fair flowery and slightly herbal nose; crisp and medium-bodied, some sweetness and a fair earthy bitterness, quite dry flowery and earthy finish - nice

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine spicy aroma. Tastes the same. Fine spicy, finish a bit like wheat. Zippy and prickly notes. Well done!
