COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Helles Weizenbier / blond yeasty wheat beer

Bottle thnx to Stefan ! Pours unclear, hazy yellowblonde, small white head.Smell is intense white bread-maltyness, wheat - obviously -is there as well. some german style yeast, rich in esthers ( banana ) that builds up and overtakes the malty aspects very quickly. Taste has moderate bitterness, crispy, wheat-intense grains. Mild esthers ( by far not as much as expected after the scent ) rather creamy MF. very nice balance. Ok carbonation as well. Not my favorite style, but a very nice example of the style, and a good drinkin’ beer.

Lore (2664) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 22, 2016
hazy pale yellow colour, minimal white head; aroma of wheat, wet breadcrust, lemony notes and hints of banana; taste of bread, sourish lemony notes, syrupy-banana sweetness and hints of hoppy bitterness in the background; perfectly balanced, great beer! many thanks, kapusil!

Cristobal37 (1117) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 19, 2016
Very pale yellow loads of carbonation. Not much head. Hefeweizen yeast and some honey on the nose. Wheaty, light spice, some honey with a grassy kinda odd finish. Looks like a Belgian style wit, tastes like an American wheat beer with a bit of hefeweizen yeast, but the finish is strange like leafy arugula. Nice but the aftertaste is kinda weird vegetables. Thanks for sharing @kapusil !

330 ml bottle. Pours straw yellow with a white head. Mild aroma, a little doughy. Medium body soft carbonation. The taste is light to medium sweet, fresh fruits, hints of banana. Good one but the aromas are unfortunately a little faint.

Cloudy yellow colored, nice strong white lasting head. Aroma is wheat, some banana, less cloves, yeasty bread and quite orange/lemony citric. Taste is low to moderate sweet wheat, banana bread, bit cloves, citric, nice bready finish and aftertaste, some low acidity. Low to medium bodied, somewhat thin, moderate+ carbonation.

Saeglopur (2144) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - APR 5, 2015
330 ml bottle as "Golser Weißbier" from Beer Store Vienna.
Orange, cloudy body, with a big, frothy, moderately lacing, white head.
Aroma of banana, wheat, spices, bread, some vanilla.
Taste is quite light, with spices, yeast, banana, orange, bread, some hops.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a livey carbonation.
Finishes spicy, quite dry, yeasty, a bit hoppy.

Good, but nothing special. The taste is too light for my liking, on the other hand it is very easy to drink. Overall an quite average Hefeweizen, which isn’t among the best from Austria in my opinion.

Geiserich (4495) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAY 5, 2013
Draught at Wiener Bierfest: Pale yellow, very hazy color. Small creamy head. Aroma is classical for a wheat: yeast, wheat, citrus (oranges), some spices. Flavor is fresh, thirst quentching, yeasty, wheaty and fruity, Notes of cloves, light dry finish. Good balanced.
