COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Helles Weizenbier / blond yeasty wheat beer

Geiserich (4573) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAY 5, 2013
Draught at Wiener Bierfest: Pale yellow, very hazy color. Small creamy head. Aroma is classical for a wheat: yeast, wheat, citrus (oranges), some spices. Flavor is fresh, thirst quentching, yeasty, wheaty and fruity, Notes of cloves, light dry finish. Good balanced.

Frothy head, pours cloudy. There was residue on the inside of the cap and the bottle. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Taste of bananas is the immediate taste, quite a delightful beer.

(0,33cl bottle) From the 2012 Advent Calendar. Good white foamy head atop a slightly clouded gold body. Nose is mildy green bananas. Thin mouthfeel and an average palate, fairly carbonated and slightly sweet. Okay. --- reviewed on RateBeer.com

Advent calendar #5. Oops, falling behind. So the calendar doubled this brewery’s ratings, how about that. Holy banana on the aroma! A huge amount of phenols and esters, the flavour is drier than I’ve had for hefes, finish is... yep... dry banana. How hefes are meant to be.

DuffMan (10596) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 5, 2012
Bottle, Dec 5th Beer Advent Calendar. Cloudy lemony yellow pour with a dense creamy white head that retains magnificently. Aroma is pleasantly spicy, with soft banana and dough. On the palate, phenols dance with esters, but phenols take the lead with cloves dominating the estery banana fruit, with light doughy wheat providing nice malt structure. A solid hefeweizen, presenting all the elements that make me happy-- I can only imagine how awesome this must be when it is consumed fresh.

Pours a nice cloudy light yellow with a small frothy white head. Aroma is a sweet banana with some cloves & spice. Taste is banana, yeast and spices up front with a bit of tangy lemon on the finish. Great Hefe!!

RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 5, 2012
Cloudy yellow pour with a quick dissipating white head. Aroma is creamy banana, oats - nice, but I can’t pick anything else out, the banana is really noticeable. Flavours are the same with a yeasty, slightly spicy finish. Enjoyable.

330ml brown bottle, from Craft Beer Advent Calendar. 5% abv on the label. Pale yellow, hazy, some floaties. Large long lasting white head with a very creamy bead. Creamy banana nose with a slight tang beneath it. Taste has wheat malts, banana, lemon. Finish has dry wheat, light hopping, yeast. Light bodied, smooth and light carbonation, good mouthfeel. Refreshing weisse, would buy this again if it were available outside the calendar, a nice surprise.
