COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you’re looking to step up from the usual, look no further. Hiding beneath its yellow raincoat are pockets of passionfruit, citrus & balanced biscuity brilliance. Scared of that bitterness? Take another sip.

Not my kind of beer, was a faint citrus aroma on a thin body. Luckily I sampled this at the beginning of the evening, for it was a fine quenching beer and deserves to be supped in the late afternoon sun

What no Australian sparkling ale style on RB? Brilliant golden pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is grass, citrus, apple, bread. Flavor is clean and crisp with mild sweetness yielding to medium hop bitterness. Excellent feel, light and effervescent, very prickly. Really nice for an ASA.

[8235-20160512] Tap. Mild grainy aroma. Clear, yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Lightly bitter lemon grainy grass flavour. Light-medium body. Fair. (5/3/5/3/10) 2.6

2016-05-12. Crisp pale yellow body with a small white head and nice lace. Aroma is very mild, light fruity hops and pale malt. Flavour is mild, lightly fruit and very mildly bitter throughout, pale malt base. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ quaffable but too mild for my preferences. 6/3/6/3/13-14 On tap at Good George, Hamilton, NZ.

Does exactly what I was hoping a sparkling ale would do: it sparkled it’s sparkly, wet, quenching way down my gullet, throwing off sparkles of sweet lemon, then lime and finishes with a modicum of slightly peppery bitterness. Very light and fresh.

Pours a clear, neon gold with pure white head that doesn’t stick around for too long. Big aromas of mango, passionfruit, and tangerine on the nose with a mineral water note. Flavours are much lighter than the aroma would suggest but of similar nature. Very much like an American pale ale but with a more restrained bitterness. Very high carbonation that fills the mouth, leaving little in the finish.

Thanks to Clayton for this rare New Zealand tick. It poures golden with excellent carbonation and superb head-retention. The aroma is pine; morning forest due; citrus and lime cordial. Taste is lime; citrus; lemons; lyches; mangos; a big citrus whack-in-the-mouth and a great measure of hops. Some nods to Jaipur here as well. Great stuff. I really dig this. Some bubblegum and well-measured clove which isn’t overpowering. Excellent. Really don’t get the low rates on this one. Exactly what I want to sit back with and sip.

Tap at Sauce Paihia. Pours a golden yellow colour with a bright white head, citrus aroma, with a dry sweet taste.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2014 Seeing as I was in Hamiltron, it would have been rude for me not to have re-rated this beer at its source. Excellent clarity, a skim of white head and a few trails of pinprick carbonation. Ripe gooseberry and lime zest are the stars here, indicating some punchy Sauvin perhaps. Same zesty citrus up front on a light-ish body. Plenty of sparkle, doing exactly what it says on the tin. A spritzy finish, a pretty beer. Following on from my last review (of Fork and Brewer The Hoppit), I was still suffering from GWS and was sitting down for a quiet restorative with my friend and confederate Brian Eerwriter. I needed something light and fresh. I needed something to revive me. I needed something that was going to barely touch the sides. This was that beer and the description said it all. It took my less than five minutes to drink a pint of this and want to go back for another. Yep. Not a difficult beer to drink at all. (3.2/5)

The head is ok, the body golden. It smells citrus, malty, hoppy. The taste is malty, sweet, hoparomatic, bit grassy, nice! 11/10/11/10/-/11
