Jan. 18, 2013. On tap at Michael’s Restaurant, Sangerfield, NY. Dark, heavy; alcohol not particularly well concealed. Some disharmony flavor-wise. Chocolate/coffee notes and roastiness suggest more an imperial stout or porter than a Belgian strong ale. Wishing this new local brewery well!

on tap at the brewery in hamilton. Definite alcohol in the taste. Very clearly a higher alcohol beer. Smells like chocolate more than the taste would imply. Probably would not get again

Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2013
A hazed brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet dark fruits with notes of cinnamon. In mouth, a spiced up ale with cinnamon, nutmeg, nutty chocolate, grassy hops and warming alcohol. On tap at J.Ryans, Nov. 29 2012.
