Pours a slightly dark brown and leaves the same colored body with a slim one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute, some nice foamy lacing graces the sides of the glass in a clingy sort of fashion; the aroma is nutty, malty, slight caramel all combined nicely and coming forth strong and sweet; the flavoring is mainly nutty and sweet; slightly nutty/caramel malty aftertaste and a dry sort of nutty finish; its fairly easy on the palate for a Brown Ale but still packs a slightly heaviness to sit just right on a Winter’s night; overall, definitely would trade for this again ClassyBeagle (376) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 19, 2013
FROM NOTES: August 9, ’23
Poured from a 12 ounce can into a shaker pint glass.
A: Chocolate malt, a bit of coffee, nutty malts, and a bit of peat as well.
A: Pours a dark, murky brown with a two-fingers off-white head that dissipates slowly leaving a slight lacing.
T: Malty, nutty, bready, much like the smell with hints of caramel and chocolate with a touch of hops at the finish. Nicely balanced.
P: Carbonation over-load! But after the carbonation bomb settles down, is quite smooth, almost creamy
O: The nose is very promising, but the taste is slightly disappointing. The sweetness went away and it was just an average brown. edgallow (4377) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 11, 2013

A pretty solid brown - had a very nice brown pour w/ a big tan head that leaves substantial lacing. Aroma is faint w/ a little bit of malt standing out. Taste is light malt upfront followed by a fair amount of hop bitterness. A nice brown!

Brown colored pour. No head, just a few bubbles. No lacing. Slight malt aroma. Not much else going on there. Taste is malty with some hints of vanilla and roasted grain. Dry finish. Not bad. ttroha (516) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Can. Pours light brown with thin off-white head. Aroma of fruits and malt. Flavor of malt, nuts and a fruity sweetness. Light beer that goes down easy. A decent cheap beer. Vestlake (279) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 25, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 2, 2013 One of the best tasting brown ale’s that I’ve tried. Has a well balanced taste, slightly sweet and nutty. Nice aroma. Very drinkable. Bamaboy1975 (242) - Suffolk, Virginia, USA - JUN 21, 2013
This is my first offering from Good People. Their brown ale pours a deep caramel with a ruby tinge. Not much head to speak of and no lacing. Smell is not overpowering. I mainly pick up notes of honey. Mouthfeel is awesome. It just feels "right." Not really sure how to describe it better. Taste is well balanced. Upfront there are some very sweet notes of malt and syrup. The finish is well balanced with some bitter hops, but in both cases they are mild. This would make a great session beer. very drinkable, and very tasty. Good People: you done good!!!!
