Tap @ Birmingham Sheraton: Clear copper color with an off-white frothy head and super sticky lacing. Clear aroma of grapefruit and dry grass. Bitter, tangy flavor which could have had more complexity followed by a all around bitter aftertaste. not bad.

12oz can from liquor express in Huntsville Alabama. Orange brown thick pour into shaker. Half a finger of bright white head that disappeared half way through. Moderate lacing. Creamy and sweet scent. Hay and incense, . Medium body and carbonation. Well blended between hops and malt. The hops come through with an overall bitter tone. Closest tastes are pine and a small amount of soft floral but sweeter than what's typical. Finish is where the malt is more evident. Leaves a bitter, roasted taste. Average ipa but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy copper pour with a rocky, off-white head. The nose has earthy hops with some mild pine. The medium body has an oily texture with average carbonation. The taste begins mildly bitter with a caramel backbone and finishes a little more bitter.

A really good IPA that surprises considering it comes from a small brewery located in Birmingham, Alabama of all places.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Hazy golden. Pale malts and gentle floral hops are smelled. The hops are a little more complex in the flavor but othetwise matches the aroma. It finishes sour. Not great.

Can gifted by drabmuh. Thanks Matt! The beer is orange / amber hued. with a thick, cumulus cloud head. The head has lasting retention and coats the pint glass in lacing. The aroma brings pine and hops, with a bit of malt, earth, and alcohol as well. The flavor is pretty decent, and fairly balanced between hops and malts, with hops slightly in the lead. Plenty of pine in there as well, with a lasting piny bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. I do wish the beer was a bit bolder in terms of pine, floral, and/or citrus flavors, with less of a malt bill. The feel is medium bodied, and more robust than is customary for a 6% IPA. Carbonation level is fine. Overall, a solid brew, but nothing extraordinary. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 04-19-2011
