Rated base on notes taken 13 Feb 2012 -- I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. It isn’t exceptional, it’s just a solid good drinking IPA.

This IPA has mostly just bittering hops, but not a ton. It certainly has strong unbalance amounts, but it just isn’t tat tasty.

From a can. Pours ear amber with a thick, creamy off white head. Tastes like musky orange citrus, creamy, nutty, pine dryness but not too much bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet creamy citrus, nutty.

Really fantastic ipa. Grapefruit and citrus hops dominate the nose and initial taste, with a nice Carmel malt backbone that gives this brew some depth. This has become my session ipa since moving to Nashville, love it.

jsquire (4666) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Orange color out of the can with a foamy ivory colored head. Rich grapefriut rind nose. Classic PNW IPA with a rich malty backbone and strong grapefruit and orange rind hoppiness. Long bitter finish. Nice IPA.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass, copper orange with a 1" white head. Nose is hops, orange peel, pine. This is not a very hop forward IPA, medium hoppiness. Very nicely done. This is a classic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
