Real funky. Good aroma, but tastes off. Thanks Brentfeesch (by way of Seymour). Very hoppy, but not in a good way. "Its no bueno" says Nadya. No balance.

12 oz can from ATL with a September 2017 canning date.
Pours a clear, deep amber color with a towering, foamy, durable, bone-colored head.
This IPA has a relatively high malt load, limiting the bitterness and adding some nice notes of caramel and baked bread. Hoppy finish.

Malty aroma with a hint of hops. Shiny golden color with a cream colored head. Taste has a strong hop presence but is not bitter. Very good balance. Crisp effervescent palate. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would.

can. Amber with one finger head. Medium body with caramel malt. Moderate hops with solid flavor, especially citrus. Well done old school IPA.

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and grains with a hint of citrus underlying. Flavor is grass forward with a bit of earthy citrus and a grain backbone.

While I didn't get excited about the Pale Ale, the IPA is solid. Nice fruity hops in the aroma. Nice balance in the flavor. This is good.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear amber with a finger of head. Lots of caramel, pine and grapefruit in the nose. Same on the palate. Old school but enjoyable.

Nice bitter IPA, lightly sweet with a massive IBU-packed back end. Starts easy, grainy malt against a toasted base, yet the grapefruit-herbal hops jump in and bring on a serious bitterness in the finish. Dry, dry fade. Huge funky hop nose, decent pour. Bitter is good. More bitter IPAs, please.
