Wow, what a generic looking can. Next-to-last of my notes from last year’s DLD, where I got in TWO Alabama beers. Pours with a surprisingly dark brown color. Not a lot of foam, but then I’m at the bottom of the glass. Dry-hopping gives this a definite American Pale Ale slant, and helps make it tasty. The can has set for a while. But it’s still very decent, and I can find an English hop backbone.
Piper with a white head. Piney hops, some peach, caramel malts, light earth. Medium bodied. Finish has lingering sweet bitterness. Nice. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 24, 2017
12 oz can from ATL with a September 2017 canning date.
Pours a clear, deep amber color with a towering, foamy, durable, bone-colored head.
This IPA has a relatively high malt load, limiting the bitterness and adding some nice notes of caramel and baked bread. Hoppy finish.

Malty aroma with a hint of hops. Shiny golden color with a cream colored head. Taste has a strong hop presence but is not bitter. Very good balance. Crisp effervescent palate. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 25, 2017
can. Amber with one finger head. Medium body with caramel malt. Moderate hops with solid flavor, especially citrus. Well done old school IPA. deyholla (12582) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 14, 2017
Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and grains with a hint of citrus underlying. Flavor is grass forward with a bit of earthy citrus and a grain backbone.

While I didn't get excited about the Pale Ale, the IPA is solid. Nice fruity hops in the aroma. Nice balance in the flavor. This is good. jw0406 (1315) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 18, 2017
