A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

12 oz can. Almost clear orange brown with a slim white head. Nose is toffee, pineapple and orange. Oily medium body with a soft buzz. Taste is pine, grapefruit zest, lemon basil and grass. Building resin with an earthy ending. Has a nice hop bite but not something i would session.

On tap at LoDa Biergarten. Pours a copper color with white head. Very hoppy, grassy, piney, somewhat abrasive flavors. However, very enjoyable for an intense IPA.

Can. Pours mostly clear amber with fizzy white head. Aroma is bready and cookie malts, caramel, floral and citrus hops, and slight booziness. Flavor is hop bitterness forward with notes of citrus, pine, and light grassiness along with a solid malt base with a hint of sweetness and a touch of alcohol spice. Medium body and carbonation.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Big fluffy white head, honey colored, nice carbonation running up the glass. Aromas of sharp lemon peel, orange rind and grapefruit. Hints of pine and sweet malt linger. Taste is pretty sharp. Intense grapefruit bitterness out of the gate. Some piney and dry earth notes push across the middle, providing a short relief from the initial hop blast. But, then more bitter notes follow through in the finish. Minimal malt presence...medium body. Relatively dry, slightly boozy and very bitter. A pretty bold beer!

12oz can - I want to say it was fargingbastige6 that sent me this. I’ve kept this thing ice cold from day one in the FAR reaches of my fridge, to keep for a day where I was planning to drink some DIPA’s to compare. So this was going up against some heavyweights in beer geekdom and it held it’s own. I think some of these reviews are a little high, but whatever...it’s beer. The aroma, to me, just wasn’t abrasive enough for a DIPA, but what it did bring to the table was a good amount of sweet citrus juice, some pine needles but slamming me on the head was the cotton-candy-meets-white-grape-juice-like malts. The pour was beautiful...a solid amber body, minimal head, some clingy lacing.. nice. The flavor had me scratching my head though, as the initial flavor I got was the sweetness out of the beer. That’s usually a sign for me that...well...the brewer likes a balanced approach. But the explosion of hops I got on the back end did help mitigate some of the sweetness. But the sweetness was there, so it’s obviously supposed to be a more balanced approach, and it’s balanced. No noticeable alcohol anywhere, which was nice. A semi-sticky mouthfeel, low on the carbonation level...rather creamy. The fact that it’s availabl in a can is awesome and gets an extra bonus point just for that. Nicely done!

Had on tap at good people taproom. Sweet on the nose almost musky, little bit of head that dissipates quickly. Taste is a bitter hop bomb with pine and grapefruit throughout. Sits with you on the pallate for a bit with a subtle malt backbone.

"reminiscent of Oskar Blues Gordon...perhaps not as malty or quite as spicy. but expertly balanced. Huge fluffy white head that never goes away. i literally found myself chewing this beer. love the feel, and the fruity, piney, and slightly spicy hops are enough to make me reeeeeally like this brew. it’s really hard to not have another right now, but I must share. thank you Curtis for this awesome canned brew - it has met or exceeded all expectations!"

Tap at brewery. Hazy brown with white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of bitter hops. Extremely bitter aftertaste that lingers on your tongue. Too bitter for me but it’s okay.

Growler, pours copper color with a large fluffy white head. Nose is grapefruit, rich honey, citrus, very nice! Perfect carbonation for a DIPA. This is a fantastic beer. I’ve had it in a can and on tap...both are great!

Poured from a can. Hazy orange with a big white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is a little off. Old can? Taste is OK, not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
