Extremely well balanced DIPA. Hoppy as heck, but maintains a satisfying malt base. Mouthfeel is luscious and slightly oily, aroma is complex. bpreo (3049) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 13, 2017
Sampled at the 2017 McKenzie Cider and Craft Beer Festival. I'll defend the name of this one. Oregoncritter (23) - Lake Oswego, Oregon, USA - AUG 24, 2017
On tap at Tucci. Nice golden color, fresh aroma. Some lacing, almost no head. Good but not great palate, smooth finish. Easy drinking, but not overly spectacular example of IIPA. Strykzone (7889) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 24, 2017
Pint bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Deep golden with some copper hues. A beige head becomes a thick ring. Nose is pine (even my pine-challenged nose can detect it), spice, earth, fruit, and funk. There is a lot going on in both the aroma and the flavor. That pine with honeysuckle, earth, spice, cinnamon, over ripe fruit, yeast, tropical fruit, floral notes, etc. Some alcohol, too. Malts are barely noticed and this is all about the hops. This is a big flavorful double IPA and it delivers. This is a beer where being pine-challenged has its advantaged. Ron has difficulty getting past the pine while I am enjoying more of the subtleties. hayduke (5757) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 24, 2017
Shared with Strykzone. Via Facebook Chat. Pours a dark gold with a big white head. Nose is pine and a hint of mango. Medium body and a resinous and alcoholic mouthfeel. The flavor is really big pine and various fruits are under it. The finish is very dry and pine bitter and fruits appear at the end. .I suppose there are malts here but they are hidden all the hops. Very strong flavors and over a nice DIPA.

500 ml bottle shared with drsordr and Corey. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, lightly toasted bread, dank citrus and tropical fruit character, floral, grass, general hop character and moderate bitterness, good. drsordr (2984) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - APR 18, 2017
Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour lightly hazy dark gold with minimal white head. Nose grassy, kiwi, pineapple, fruit and floral, some dank. Taste fruit and grass with light dank. Moderate sweet malt mid. Light bitter finish. Zeswaft (1788) - Edmonds, Washington, USA - APR 12, 2017
Bottle. Pours out copper with white head that quicky disappears. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, booze. Flavor is strong caramel malts. High bitterness. Piney, citrusy, somewhat tropical. A pretty boozy IIPA and my bottle only says 8.5%. Theydon_Bois (22069) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2017
Bottle split at L42, thanks to the Wingmane 14/03/17.
Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering.
Nose is fresh citric pulp, pine resin, pissy tropicanic skunk, grapefruit zest.
Taste comprises cantaloupe melon, light pine dusting, mango flesh, pissy citric rinds, lemon drizzle straw, grapefruit.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation with a semi drying close slathered in sticky hop jizz.
Solid easy drinking DIPA. luttonm (7146) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 9, 2017
Bottle in Cannon Beach, OR. 500ml, 8.5%. Thick foam, rich orange. Good thick pine hop sip, modest sweetness and bittering. Lovely fresh nose of light pine citrus hops. Thick, sweet body but not too boozy on the palate. Enjoyable but nothing great. Easy drinker.
