COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale Ale is brewed to be a crossroads beer between two styles of beer, the Amber Ale and the India Pale Ale (IPA). While not having the malt character of Amber Ale or the high hop profile of an IPA, Pale Ale has a balanced body and character that creates a refreshing, clean, flavorful beer.

Hazy golden color with compact head. Simple, not much malt and hop quality, hence rather boring.

A nice smooth beer. Some strong caramel maltiness, middling roughness in the hop character. Herbal and grassy. Its okay, a rather bland beer. Drinkable but I cant say its something Ill get again.

Good morning! 12 oz can. Nice balanced flavor of hops and malts. Has a bit of a sweet melon like flavor towards the finish. Not quite a standout or anything, but more or less a good, crisp, clean flavor, nice pale here. Great early day beer, or for enjoying many. Ill drink this again.

Canned from Grocery Outlet. Hazy brownish/orange in color. Lightly sweet malty nose with a touch of fruitiness and hops. Bready and hoppy up front. Dry hoppiness dominated throughout.

12oz can in Seattle. Hazy soft brown. Yeasty pale, sweet malts and some dry-bittering hops at finish. amberish character with some dry hops, not my favorite.

a solid pale that would have stood out had it not been for the awesomeness of the 18 ibu pacific ale we tried right before this one.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is sweet malts a nice hop kick. Taste is as the nose with a good hop mix and bread malts.

It really lives up to the description. The hop qualities of an IPA are there, but very subtle. It tastes crisp and light like an Amber as well.

Poured from can to glass. Honey hue with creamy white head that lingered nicely. Aroma is mandarin orange, straw, honey, floral, grapefruit, grass. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a nice hop bitterness dominating the following & finish. Overall this is a nice hoppy pale ale.
