Bottle from the Co-op, East Wittering. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and cabbage. Sweet finish.

Cask conditioned at The Grey Stag, Sidlesham, W.Sussex. Cloudy Gold with white head. This tasted rather similar to a wheat ale, pear drops, yeasty, fruity. Pretty sure it shouldn’t have been like this but it cost a fortune. Disappointed.

Bottle from Tesco and drunk at home. Clear pale gold lasting thin white head. A little bit of caramel on the aroma. It’s a very light pale pale. OK, if a little thin. Some pale malt, some light citrus hops. A bit like a kolsch to be honest but not quite as good. Fine.

Bottle from Tesco, London. Hazy golden coloured with toffee and sweet fruity flavours followed by a gentle, creamy almond, woody and caramel finish.

Cimbasso (892) - - AUG 25, 2014
A cloudy amber colour with a soon-fading white head. The aroma is strongly malty with plenty of hops. There is a huge malt hit in the taste - lots of bread, straw and biscuit. Also very good hop taste - quite leafy and grassy plus hints of fruitcake. This organic beer is full of flavours! Very good mouth feel and excellent balance. Nice long finish. An unusually rich bitter, more like a golden ale. I would recommend this highly.

Bottle from Tesco, Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Fine one with that special cloudy and hoppy aroma which you rarely find. Similar to that superb Tap5 from Schneider. Very easy to drink, very quaffy and with a thick fruity heart. Liked it a lot.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 25, 2014
Bottle from Tesco in Eastbourne. Pours out in a clear amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of hops and barley. Taste of bitter hops,löight barley, bread, nuts and straw. Hints of cake. Easy drinkable and refreshing.

Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2014
Appearance: Clear amber with cm thick white head. Aroma: Biscuit, peppery, grassy, wheat and malty. Taste: Medium bitter and sour with low/medium sweetness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering dry spicy, peppery, tortilla, biscuit, bitter finish. Comments: Tasty and slight lacing.

0,5 l bottle kindly purchased by my sister at Trafalgar Wines in Brighton. Misty golden body with a small white head. Pears and apple jam on the nose along with metallic hints. Light fruity, juicy and bitter. Light to medium bodied. Long pleasant bitter end.
