Bottle. Light toffee malt aroma. Amber with large head. Mildly sweet toffee malt and lightly bitter herbal flavor. Nice body. Very nice. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a nice light tan head. Good lacing. Biscuit, bready like aroma with some sweetness with a touch of nutiness. Medium mouthfeel. Very smooth and balanced, drinkable. Starts with a slightly sweet note and then transitions to a full bodied feel with notes of bread and a slight bitterness. I like it. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Decent overall beer. I thought the hops really dominated throughout this and didn’t taste too much beyond them. Did pour a dark color with a minimal head. Short finish. Pretty easy to drink. chalicemaster (112) - Ohio, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Nicely done. Hops, malt and sweetness all co-exist very well. The sweetness in question was hard to pin down, sort of tasted a little like raspberries but was certainly subtle enough to add a little extra something to an already drinkable beer. I’d have this again, at the right price. Niko100 (2978) - Chicago, New York, USA - JUN 13, 2013
