12oz bottle pours with a clear copper body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up some roasted malts, graham cracker, malt sweetness and then some pine hops. The taste is similar with sweet malts, some roasted malts, a bit of biscuit maltiness and then malt sweetened graham cracker. Behind those notes is a complimentary yet modest degree of pine hoppiness. This comes together pretty well. Nice stuff. Cybercat (5838) - Georgia, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Pours a lovely clear tawny with a fairly thick, if not persistent, light tan head. Malty aroma has subtle woody, caramel and - cloves? - notes. Flavor is mainly malty with a firm hoppy wood note. Smooth, somewhat fizzy finish leaves a woody and malty note with a hint of caramel. Fair to middlin’ but a good honk. BillWyce (1086) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2013
From notes: Poured clear orange-amber, with a 2-finger bone-colored head. Light aroma of orange quickly gives way to nutty and caramelly malt. Medium body, finish is soft and a bit dry. Flavor of nutty malt, with a touch of orange and a citrus hops bitterness that lingers at the back. Chudwick (3210) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - SEP 21, 2013
12oz bottle at Coney Island. Pours amber with offwhite head and decent lacing. Nose is caramel and a tad floral. Sip introduces light pine with citrus notes. Hoppy for an ESB. DalzAle (2037) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Bottle. Dark amber pour, thin disc of carbonation and an aroma of light malty cherries. Flavor is lightly malty, bready and light hints of plums and dry hops. Nice beer, and even better at $4/sixer on clearance.

Bottle. Coppery amber pour with a tall, foamy tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel notes, soft floral hops, dried fruit and light nuttiness. Taste is floral and earthy hops blended with caramel, light toffee notes, toasted nuts, dark bread, sweet malt and dried fruit. Body is medium with a rich, creamy carbonation. Slightly chewy as well. Ends with more caramel, toffee notes, toasted dark bread, light nuttiness, earthy hops, floral notes, soft fruitiness and tea. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - SEP 20, 2013
12oz bottle, black & white label. Copper color, tan foam. Aroma of toasted barley malts. Earthy floral notes. Soft flavor, creamy malts. Sweet toasted grain body. Earthy bite, wooded character, nicely hopped. Finishes with huge caramel notes, with hearty grains. (3825) starewich (170) - - SEP 19, 2013
Pours a dark, cloudy amber with an unusual yellowish, bubbly head, that dissipates quickly. Sour and malty, moderate hops. It’s okay but I still don’t really get the appeal of the style. unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Pours clear copper color with off white head. Toasted malt and caramel aromas. Toasted malt and caramel flavors with some citrus. Medium body with average carbonation daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Amber pour with an off white head. Very pale flavored beer. Watery, not much hops, malty finish. Very mediocre. Bummer.
