COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Bottle- served in a weizen as instructed. Misting straw, fine uneven collar. Bright, zesty, lemon meringue and pineapple jelly aroma like an English GA. Lemon curd on wholemeal toast with dabs of sherbet and honey; squeeze of lime, tingling condition. Lemon puff biscuit finish with soapy bitterness and perfumed hop. Refreshing.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2010 On tap in Chicago OHare. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Yeast dominates the aroma. Taste follows the aroma with a hint of citrus destroyed by yeast and wheat. Slightly bitter. No significant aftertaste.

Sampled at Giordinos in downtown Chicago. Pours really pale yellow. Has a bit of head on it. Not your best quality wheat brew but its well made.

AirForceHops (6687) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 3, 2010
Pours a light opaque color typical of a wheat ale. Aroma is citrusy and hoppy but a little more doughy/stale than expected. Flavor was very mild and bitter with some sweet/spicyness. Nothing really too special. Palate is simple, taste like the aroma. This is good for a commercial wheat.

Pours a hazy straw color. Moderate white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is wheat and tart citrus. Similar flavor. Minimal aftertaste. Very refreshing lawnmower beer.

Very mild, easy to drink. Nothing off flavor wise, just a very mellow beer. Like a blue moon light I guess.

A great wheat beer, cloudy gold in color like a good wheat should, pair well with any citrus if desire, and a presidential favorite. Top ten in best wheat beer in my opinon

Yellowish with a small white head. The aroma is weak with light fruit hints and a bit of malt. Flavour is mild like the aroma. Watery palate.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2011 I enjoyed this beer a great deal. I ordered a 32 ounce cup of this on tap at an Avett Brothers concert and had a good deal of it gone before I could even get back to where I was standing for the show. Appearance is a hazy yellow. Taste was like a yeasty bread and the palate was banana nut bread. Great beer that I would love to try when Im sober.
