COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Bottle via the wife. Could this beer pour any paler yellow> Thin whispy head. Some very small solids that barely move near the bottom. Carbonation seems impeded. Body is light and has the initial tang of wheat but none of the yeastiness, Sweet, gummy finish. Murgh....

Just another wheat. That’s all I got. Chris had one of these that he brought with him from Columbus. I’m sure they brew better stuff than this.

Little hazy yellow. Thin in both colour and palate. Lots of citrus and some sweet wheat malt. I had high hopes on this. They were not fulfilled.

Pretty ho-hum if you ask me. Cloudy yellow pour. Average nose. Wheat taste. Doesn’t have an over powering of banana that most wheats have. Not horrible, not great. Refreshing but not much else. On tap at 3 Cellars in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Does a "beer" need overwhelming taste and high alcohol content to be considered the best? 312 Urban Wheat may not pack the punch of many other choices, but it does its job exceedingly well: a solid, good-tasting, session beer that I never grow tired of.

A classic for me, perhaps because i’ve been enjoying it for years (and i’ve just recently turned 21). Cloudy appearance, wheaty aroma, incredibly mild taste. Not Exceptional, but a solid beer for the fan on a budget, or shopping at a big chain, such as Kroger or Walmart.

Bottle from BoE. Slightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is like old fashioned liquid glue with a hint of buttery sweetness. A little sourness in the taste and a mid bitter finish, but to be honest there’s not a lot to get excited about here. So where was the wheat?

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2010
Bottled. Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a small creamy white head. Mild aroma of yeast, wheat and lemon-rind. Medium to light-bodied with notes of wheat, neutral yeast, mild citric fruit and biscuits. Edgy mouthfeel due to lively carbonation. Mild finish of wheat, neutral yeast and mild lemon.

Bottle. Yellow, a little hazy colour. White head. Weak aroma of wheat, lemon, light sourness, faint hops. Flavor of wheat, sweet white bread, mild sourness, lemon, faint citrusy hops. Light bodied. A bit boring.

Bottle from a trade with phaleslu. Pours cloudy straw color with white head. Aroma of wheat with some lemon. Wheat flavor. Light to medium body with minimal carbonation. Thanks Peter.
