COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2009 Out of a bottle. Had a hazy yellowish color with a pretty sweet aroma. Tasted pretty good, not like most wheat beers (which was a plus for me). It was pretty crisp and was extremely drinkable. Definitely a beer that I will get again.

220z bomber. Hazy orange-yellow color. Subdued aroma, a little sweet wheat and malt. The taste is solid, not unlike a Bavarian Hefe, but without the banana yeast characteristics. Some light lemony tang. Excellent full mouthfeel, while still relatively light on the palate. Crisply balanced by the hops, this is quite refreshing and easy drinking.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, orange, coriander seed and a little lemon. Medium-bodied; Strong carbonation with a nice malty finish. Aftertaste shows some sweetness, but shows good character throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Fox & Abel in Chicago, Illinois on 07-August-2005.

This is one of my favorite beers. Its refreshing but not too light, flavorful but not overpowering. it has the right balance of all that a wheat beer should. This is one of my beer staples..

Yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of malts and citrus. Flavor of mostly malts with some orange coming in. I didnt feel that it held up to the hype.

On tap at Chigaco Midway airport. Consumed two, served in frosty pint glasses, around 12pm. Aroma was barely noticable, but some hops and graininess present. Had a light yellow color but strangely hazy appearance. The flavors were more like a rather intense pilsner or helles, not anything too reminiscent of wheat. I enjoyed this beer thoroughly, I was surprised by how much flavor and delicate bready graininess it possessed. I ordered this one because it was the only "local brew" on the menu. Thats what the servers told me anyway. It was pretty dang good, I wish I could get my hands on it, Id like to get a few six packs to work on...

Not bad at all. It’s not anything to write home about, but it’s a solid choice if you want a wheat beer. I’d prefer Hoegaarden for sure, but if you’re in the midwest, some 312 wouldn’t be a bad choice.

On tap at (do not laugh) TGI Fridays in Chicago by Midway Airport. Pours a clear pale gold with a nice fruity/wheat aroma. Flavour has a definite fruity lemon like hook to the wheat body and light grassy hop. Went very well with JD BBQ Steak and Onion Rings...
